Drupal-based platform for searching, classifying, evaluating, and comparing educational software and digital learning solutions.

CourseGateway was a digital education initiative supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and managed by EDUCAUSE, designed to help higher education institutions discover, evaluate, and compare high-quality digital courseware.

Zebra Studio was responsible for the ongoing development and management of the Drupal-based platform, which combined a content-rich website with advanced tools for exploring and evaluating educational software.

The project included:

• Ongoing Drupal design, development, maintenance, and technical support
• Advanced courseware search and filtering tools
• Product classification and structured educational content
• Tools for comparing digital learning solutions
• Management of complex content and product information

The result was a specialized digital platform that transformed a large and complex catalog of educational technology into an accessible tool, helping institutions make better-informed decisions when selecting digital learning solutions.

The original platform is no longer online, so we provide a Figma prototype as a visual reference of the project.
